I don't normally subscribe to crowdfunding because sometimes it seems that people use it for selfish reasons.
This is something I wanted to do for my little sister because I hope to show her that the community at large is always willing to show support when it is well deserved.
If you know Jenary then you already know how lucky I am to be her brother. If you don't know her then please allow me to introduce you.
Jenary Cruz was born into a world that at that point in time didn't understand her. Multiple learning disabilities that were still not recognized and treated properly were her constant companions.
Throughout her life she had to cope with not being understood by her teachers, her friends or even her family as I myself created childhood trauma by being too hard on her when I suspected she just wasn't trying to learn.
Through it all she always held a smile and coped with it. She coped with being surpassed by her little male counterparts. She coped with being seen as less intelligent and she coped with being treated like she was not equal to the kids around her in general.
That lead her to looking for fulfillment in the form of love, which lead her to her first of 3 children at the age of 17. When she saw her baby for the first time she decided tight then and there that the world wasn't going to have the same chance to make this baby suffer that it did with herself...and thus her journey Throughout the educational system began.
Jenary has spent the past decade, working her way through community College. Through it all she has faced homelessness, heartbreak, divorce, financial uncertainty, family problems and resistance professionally.
She kept pushing through and earned her Associates degree, kept raising her kids all alone while turning in enough hours and hard work to receive her Bachelors degree. And now, through a global pandemic, financial hardships, entrepreneurialship and the management of 3 teenage children
She is less than 1 month away from finally getter her Masters degree.
She is one tough cookie and I cannot say enough about her. Now the glow in her eyes as she takes a deep breath and flashes a beautiful smile as she looks at her 3 beautiful children is taking on a new meaning...she is seeing a finish line.
Please help me help my sister reach that goal as close to debt free as possible. Please donate to show her and the world that hard work passion and persistence pays off.
Please if you can't donate the support the movement by sharing. Let's finally do what we can to reward someone who actually deserves a break and a big global pat on the back.
Thank you so much for staying until the end.
Blessings and safety to all of you.
