My Story began:
9/19/2018
I recently discovered that I have a "golf-size" brain tumor on my front right temporal lobe.

I have been in the hospital for a week now, and I am currently recovering from my surgical biopsy.

My neurosurgeon told me it will take about 5-6 days for my results to come in... so as of right now we are not sure what it is or how we are going to proceed to attack it/remove it.

Due to all of this, i have been unable to work and will not be able to go back to work for a few weeks during my recovery from surgery.

I was placed under anesthesia and my head had to be pinned down. They made about a 2 inch incision to my head and drilled a hole in my skull in order to take out some of my tumor for the biopsy testing.

I am currently in the Neuro-ICU unit at Medical city of FW.

I have had much support and prayers from family and friends and I am forever thankful and blessed.

Why I need help
This has unfortunately created a financial crisis for my son & I, as the recovery process takes time.

I am not able to work right now. I am a 29 year old single mother working as a Bartender/Catering Assistant and I do not have any medical benefits.

I am seeking financial help for my son & I to help pay rent/bills while I recover.
