Hi there, I'm Joanna, Ari's mom. Sadly, I am about to lose my 3 year battle with stage 4 breast cancer, as the cancer has now traveled to my lungs and brain. I've been told I have less than three months. My sweet sister is taking on the huge task of raising my daughter, though she and her partner have no children of their own. She will have so many new things in her life to worry about. I would like to assuage some of that burden by raising some money for Ari's College. Please consider giving generously for this sweet little girl who will lose her mother at far too early of an age. Thank you for your time.
6/5 /16 update : we were going to cover burial expenses by donating my body as cadaver but UNM does not accept bodies a ravaged by disease as mine for donation. Therefore, since I am uninsurable, we are asking for another $1,000 to go toward cremation services. Nothing fancy, no memorial, just the cremation and the big baggie. please consider donating to this cause to ease this additional, significant, unexpected expense. Thank you.

A very generous friend and spouse have offered to cover all Burial expenses...that way all money raised will still go to Ari's College fund. I have adjusted the campaign total goal down to reflect this. So thankful for amazing friends. Please rest assured all money donated for Ari's College will go to Ari's College. Thank you!!!
