Legal fees

Hello everyone, my name's Scott and I desperately need help. My wife and I are currently going through the most horrendous time. I'm having to defend my name and reputation. Unfortunately, I can't fully explain what's going on or why, so I simply ask you to take a leap of faith and trust me when I beg for help. I'm spending thousands of pounds in legal fees to defend myself against a claim. I have every faith that justice will be served in the end but the cost of reaching that end is estimated at £15-20,000 <edit - not likely to cost this much anymore but still several thousand pounds>. This is an amount of money that we simply can't afford and will financially cripple us. We have a young family who are going to be effected by this and it's not fair. We both work hard for what we have and try to live our lives right. We've exhausted all options for legal support and are left with covering the cost ourselves. Please can anyone help us. If our legal fees end up being less than expected, any additional money that we're lucky enough to raise, will be donated to charity. I'm not looking to profit from any of this. I'm simply trying to avoid financial disaster. Please help with whatever you can. Thank you.
