Support Cori & Family After Loss ❤️

They say you never know when it's someone last day. This day came way too soon. On May 29th 2016 we lost more than just a friend. We lost something in this little old town that could never be replaced. Alex Haynes was known by many, maybe even more than that. Whether it was from grade school, Eau Gallie High, McDonald's, a friend of a friend, or even as your subsatute teacher.... everyone knew Alex. He left behind a loving fiancé who I've had the pleasure of being best friends with since high school, and a beautiful baby boy named Jordan. For those of you who didn't know Alex he was 22 years old, a high school and AA graduate, he worked multiple jobs, one being the manager at the beach side McDonald's, and even the other as a substitute teacher. And when he wasn't working he was busy being an amazing, loving father. He was loved by so many, especially his fiancé Cori Henderson who was more than just the mother of his son, but his high school sweetheart. There love was so strong and truly unbreakable. So now we are left with the question of why? Why would a beautiful soul like yours be taken so soon? I'm here to tell you that Alex, you're going to change lives, you're going to save lives. Not only will people now second guess their decisions, but you brought people together to realize that life is precious, to hold onto the ones you love and make sure you live life to the fullest just as Alex did every day. His legacy lives on, not only by his baby boy but by his story. You were a great friend to me, one of my best friends at a time, and you impacted my life through the years in so many ways. I can only imagine all the heartache this has brought to everyone else in your life as well. I ask that we all come together to help Cori and her baby boy. Truly anything will help. With this, I hope everyone holds close to those they love, and remember that life should be treasured and taken day by day.

Alex, you may be gone but you'll forever walk among us all through spirit.
