Brain Surgery at 22 years old

My son Nick has a medical condition which is requiring him to have a major brain surgery on December 8th. Its referred to as type 1 Chiari malformation as well as syringohydromyelia. We recently learned his skull did not fully develop so his brain is dropping down towards his spinal cord. He has a cyst in his spinal cord and it is growing because of the pressure the brain is causing in his skull, and there is an issue with the way his brain fluid runs thru his spinal cord. The surgeon's plan is to remove a portion of his skull in the back of his head and place a mesh patch in its place to get his blockage under control, and hopefully shrink the cyst in the process.
This is a very scary thing for our family and we want to do anything we can to help get him through this.
We are trying to raise money to cover his medical expenses, as there will be quite the bill after surgery. Our goal is $10,000. We have been receiving donations and having weekly yardsales with all funds going directly to my son and his medical bills. If you have anything to donate we would really appreciate it!
