Nikayla’s Bright Future

Nikayla is a brave 11 year old girl who had a loving mother that recently passed away on Friday, November 13th. Nichole resided at an Adult Family Home due to her medical conditions. Despite her Quadriplegia and being on a Ventilator, she always wanted the best for her daughter, which is why she placed Nikayla under the care of her loving aunt, Dawn. Pre covid days, Nikayla would stay the weekends with her mom and they would watch movies, take pictures, laugh, and even brain stormed new ideas for Nichole’s soon to be published Children’s Books. Nichole’s dream was always to watch Nikayla grow older. Having a long history of severe medical conditions made that future unclear. But the one thing she made clear to her Aunt and Nurses caring for her was that she always wanted Nikayla to be taken care of. We are doing this fundraiser to insure that Nikayla has the means to be able to go to a college of her choice when she graduates. This little girl has gone through enough turmoil in her life, so let’s give her something positive to look forward to in the future.
