8th grade trip to Washington D.C. and NYC

Hello!

I am writing this note to tell everyone how excited I am about an incredible educational opportunity I have coming up. My 8th grade class from Davis Middle School in Evanston, Wyoming will be spending six days in Washington, D.C. and New York City at the end of this school year, and I have been invited to go!

While in Washington, D.C., we will be visiting historic sites such as the White House, the Holocaust Museum, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument, Arlington National Cemetery, the Capital Grounds, and the Smithsonian. 

After we learn as much as we can in the US capital, we will head to the Big Apple. In New York City, we will see the Statue of Liberty, the 9/11 Memorial, Wall Street, Times Square, and even a play on Broadway!

I’m writing to ask for your help. In order to go on this trip, I need to raise $2700 by April 1, 2021.

Any donation, even small ones, will help me reach my goal so I don’t miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
