Help “BJ” to get medical care!

Donation protected
Hi everyone! Many of you in the XJW community know “BJ” or Isaac Bolaji Oriyomi, from Nigeria . . . For those of you that are not familiar with him, let me tell you a little about him and his current situation. I met “BJ” in 2017 in an Ex-Jehovah’s Witness Nigerian support group that he helped to create. Until then, I use to wonder if it’s difficult in the USA for post cult survivors, then how much more difficult it must be for those in third world countries that decide to leave a cult. “BJ” was born into the Jehovah’s Witnesses, but was an independent thinker and was disfellowshipped at 18 years old, for asking too many questions about their doctrines. His father died when he was only 10 years old, leaving him as the eldest son. “BJ” has helped to support his family by selling off brand perfume on the streets of Lagos, and has NEVER asked me for a dime in the past 3 years since I’ve known him. Quite the contrary, he used to check on me and others to see how we were all doing! “BJ” is now facing the most arduous situation right now and needs our help. A few months ago he was battling Malaria and a secondary bacterial skin infection, but is now experiencing worsening health. He has an enlarged liver and pancreas, pneumonia and now possibly a heart condition. He has had several tests ran at his local hospital in Lagos, but needs an echocardiogram and more tests ran in order to rule out certain heart conditions. This has been a huge financial hardship on his family and of great concern to his mother. I have had the rare privilege of talking with his sister and mother, and they wanted me to thank you in advance for your generous contributions for “BJ” and to get the medical care he needs and to help cover some of his basic needs as well. I will be more than happy to keep everyone posted about the progress he is making and to be 100% transparent about the funds received. Thank you! -Sharon Tyson Tovar https://www.jwsurvivorsoriginal.com/
