Team Ram Nation in the TBT

The Basketball Tournament or "TBT" (www.thetournament.com) is a 64-team open-entry tournament that matches up REAL teams in an almost fantasy-like basketball competition. Former NBA players, current overseass professionals and college alumni teams make up the bracket in the summer's funnest basketball event.
This year Ram Nation is joining the fray with a team made up of some VCU legends.
B.A. Walker, Jesse Pellot-Rosa and Michael Anderson from the Rams' "Duke dagger" team are onboard, as are Final 4 stars Joey Rodriguez, Jamie Skeen, Bradford Burgess, Brandon Rozzell and Darius Theus. And for good measure, we decided to improve our situation in the paint by adding one of VCU's greatest shot-blockers and dunkers in the history of the program: Larry Sanders.
Our roster has a great shot at making a run in this very competitive field, a field that starts for us in Charlotte, NC as a competitor in the South Region.
And that's where you come in.
Our players will take time out of their busy schedules to come together once more to represent Ram Nation in this year's tournament, this time however without the benefit of a fully-funded athletics department behind them...just us, the fans.
So if you, like me, want to see some of VCU's greatest from some of VCU's most successful teams, unite on the court, please consider making a donation to our team to help us get these nine players from around the country to Charlotte, NC by July 8. Your donation will pay for travel and lodging for our nine players and myself. Whatever we raise and don't use will be donated to VCU Athletics.
