Medical equipment for Danny

Hello everyone, This go fund me was created in an effort to help our family, specifically our uncle Daniel. For the last 10 years, he has been struggling with various medical conditions: heart condition, diabetes, high blood pressure, strokes, and end-stage renal disease. These illnesses have had him either in a doctor’s office, dialysis, or in the hospital regularly. This has caused his spirit to weaken. This year has been a terrible year for him. Our uncle was told he had to be out of his apartment by end of September due to the Landlord selling the property. Our parents then did what they always do and jumped to help him. Buying him his own residence at the Sheffield Estates in Hammond, IN. Along with that, we spent a couple of months gutting it completely and refurnishing in order to lift my uncle’s spirits and provide ample room for wheelchair mobility. His right ankle bone became infected and disintegrated years ago; while he still had a ”good leg”, his left leg, he was unable to put weight on the right leg. Earlier this year, his ”good leg” lost circulation and his leg developed gangrene and had to be amputated leaving him with his bad foot. He was hospitalized in September with an infection on his bad foot with no circulation, and was told that it had to be amputated too. We can’t even begin to tell you about the emotional turmoil he is enduring. We remain faithful that with prayers, he will get through this. We have reminded him that while we can’t imagine what he is feeling, it isn’t a death sentence. He receives ambulance help to go to and from doctors appointments and dialysis. The issue now is in order to take him out to the stores, to eat, experience the outside world in general, my family has to lift him from the wheel chair into the vehicle. Which is no easy task. We ask that you donate so that we can purchase an electric wheelchair that lifts , to ease the burden of transport. And by doing so, giving our uncle a quality life and the ability to still experience the world. We’re hopeful that he will be eligible for prosthetics and will, by God’s grace be back on his feet(although not his God-given feet) but in the meantime, we’d like to make his struggle less of a burden by getting him an electric wheelchair and other medical supplies.
