Marge Harrison medical expenses

Anyone who knows my mom, Marge Harrison, knows she is the most selfless person. She cares for others, often putting her own needs aside. Now is the time for us to help her. On Thursday, October 22nd we noticed she was jaundice. She was admitted into the hospital on Friday, October 30th. During her stay, she underwent a surgical procedure to place a stent that will allow her liver to drain. This is only a temporary solution. She also learned the reason why her liver wasn’t draining on its own. After MRIs and CT scans, it was discovered that she has two growths on her pancreas, which caused the jaundice. She also has a growth in the center of her lungs causing partial lung collapse, and one in the front of her brain that is too risky to be surgically removed. When a biopsy was completed, the oncologist said the results showed low-grade neuroendocrine carcinoma, which means it is a slow growing tumor. But we are waiting to schedule a second biopsy procedure on another growth before we come to a diagnosis. As of right now, this is all we know until the second biopsy results. We will keep everyone updated. We are unsure of total costs, as we still have a long road ahead of us. But there will be many costly hospital bills and medications to pay for. Also she doesn’t have a traditional insurance plan, so out of pocket costs will be very high. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated!
