Help for Elise

I have been putting this off in hopes I wouldn't have to. But reality comes sooner or later. I have been struggling with neuromuscular symptoms for some time. It is quickly getting more difficult for me to walk. I have cut down working to 1-2 days per week .  I think this week will be it. I may be a le to do a day or two. I see neurosurgeon next week. My guess is extensive back surgery with fusion. It should help my back pain. But it's a big if that it will bring my legs and other neuro issues back. I am going to try for SS short term. In PA you must  be out no less than 12 months normal wait time for any $ is 16-24 months. Unless you're 58 or older. There are really no exceptions.  The medical bills are coming in.  The hope is that it will help relieve symptoms but that may not be the case. At a minimum the surgery will keep me from work for some time. Ultimately my hope is to return to work even if that means from a wheelchair. I know many of you are struggling with situations even more trying. My thoughts are with you. If you or anyone you know is able and would like to help it would be very greatly appreciated.
