She wants to be an English teacher in Japan and this is her first step towards the desire she has in her heart.
In true trendsetter form, Carolynn will be the first forgien exchange student from VCA to study abroad opening the doors for others to follow!
The program is $8,300 which doesn't include airfare, visa, passport, transportation there, books, uniforms or monthly expenses. Let's not let finances hold her back from impacting the world.
She will be gone April - July as this is Japan's begining semester. She is very motivated and we are starting early in the process to have everything covered.
She has a beautiful, strong, and caring heart. She enjoys new things and loving people the way Christ loves us, just as we are. She wants to share that love in Japan to shine a light as a teacher.
This program allows her to study abroad under the supervision of people who have children, or empty nesters. They will be able to guide her through her time there. I love this because she will go there either now or collage. In college, there will be no parental support and she would have navigate on her own and get a job instead on focusing on school and language acquistion.
