Help for Victims of Hurricane Eta in Honduras

Javier Henriquez here to share some difficult news with you. Already going through a COVID19 crisis, Honduras was just hit by Hurricane Eta which has just made several rivers overflow and destroyed everything in the areas surrounding them. At least around 360,000 people have lost everything, some of them have disappeared, others still waiting to be rescued and others are still on the streets waiting for shelters to be created. Also there is a huge lack of resources to fulfill their basic needs (food, water, clothes, face masks, etc.) Just seeing all the images of destruction and heartbreaking photos have left me feeling powerless since I am not able to be there to help. There is a group of people in San Pedro Sula (my hometown) who are delivering food and helping out with whatever they have, but they have no funding. I decided to reach out to them and see if it was ok if I raise money to send to them so they can help more people. A single dollar will make a difference between life and death down there. My friend Roni has helped me to open this campaign and she will be withdrawing the money so I can send it to the Group mentioned above. I should be able to share photos of what the money is being used for, but you can also visit their Facebook Page in which they share photos of their job as well. Here is their link:
