Cancer sucks!!!
The cancer that my wife, Jaann has been battling to keep away has returned. If you're reading this then you may know of a family member or friend who has had cancer and know what it can do to families. The financial and emotional stress of this disease that started when Jaann was diagnosed back in December of 2014 is enormous. We're now facing another hill to climb with more unknowns. I am asking for your help to give us a chance to reduce the burden of the emotional and financial stress. Studies show that when a cancer patient has less stress in their life they have a better chance at survival. She shouldn't have to worry about medical bills, food, and basic needs when she's having to battle for her life. She has tests and procedures being done that insurance won't cover. She deserves to be able to do the things she wants to do with the life she has left and be happy. She's worked hard her whole life and been there for all her children, me, and a whole host of friends and family when they needed her. She has been my rock and support for the last 15 years and never steered me wrong. She's done some of the most amazing things while sick and not feeling up to it but, does it anyway. She orchestrated a food plan for me which has allowed me to achieve my goals in weight loss which some of you have seen. She counsels our children when they are in need no matter how she feels. She is an extraordinary woman and I'm fighting for her everyday. I take time from work to take her to appointments because she is too sick and weak to drive herself, I'm her caregiver when not at work and sometimes while working. I juggle a lot of hats. Currently, she's been down and pretty much bed ridden for the last several weeks. She's lost a lot of weight and struggling to hold on. Those of you that have come by to visit know what I mean. Life isn't the same when you have a family member so close that has cancer. You fight hard to make life as normal as possible. It's a challenge but, I'm up for it and have been ever since the diagnosis. I'm very thankful for you if you're reading this and have the ability to help or share this link.
