Emma Grace’s Surgery & Biopsy

As many of you know, after Avery was born, during some one-on-one time with Emma, I noticed a lump on her neck, on her collar bone that would pop out and then move when touched. Emma also had a summer rash at the time as well, that we hoped was the cause of the lump due to infection in the lymph-odes, but since antibiotics, cream, and the summer rash going away, the lump in her neck is still there. Her doctor ordered lab work to see if childhood leukemia was in question, but the blood work showed normal besides bad allergies. We thought we were in the clear, and the lump didn’t show anymore. She went for a follow up and was perfect.. we thought. Until, I noticed it again, and much larger this time. Emma will be going to see the surgeons in Macon (as Avery did) to see if removing the lump is a option as well as sending it off for biopsy. I do not know yet, if surgery will be done, but it’s pretty likely since there’s so much question on what this lump is. I will update as we know more, and as her journey continues. Any and all funds donated here or elsewhere will go towards Emma & Avery during this time, appointments, hospital stays, bills (if Jesse is needed to be out of work again), etc. Thank you.
