Hello! Me and my family-in-law have been dealing with someone who has caused us harm and damage to us and our home. She has made threats to us and has even destroyed and damaged property in our home. She was dating the owner of the house until they separated, but her and her young children still live with us. We have given her time to move out so they wouldn’t be on the streets, but now things have escalated (threats, accusations, etc.). She has even said she will bring her new boyfriend, a felon, into our home and has stated she will have her boyfriend do physical harm to a 17 year old. We do not feel safe, especially if that man comes over. We did nothing to her, in fact, we gave her money to help her move out and get on her feet. Now, she owes us 2k and rent since she refuses to pay us anything. This lack of payment has given us trouble with keeping up with rent. The house is filled with filth; urine, feces, flies, roaches and other insects, left over trash and food, debris, etc. all caused by her and her children. Me and my family have been stuck in our rooms trying to avoid her. We have tried to clean but she and her kids would make a bigger mess than before. We contacted cops many times and they wouldn’t do anything to assist us. Again, we have tried to call the cops on this woman to solve our situation, telling them we feel unsafe and scared of her trying to fire us and destroy our life, they did nothing. She is winning her war that she desperately wants with us. But we won’t let her. We currently need your help with removing this person out of our home; possibly hire a lawyer, few months of rent paid off, any bills from the court, and money to repair the house. We do not want to lose our home and our jobs, and that is her goal among ruining our lives. We can’t remove her due to the court stating she has 30 days to stay, but we want more justice than just removing her and more assistance from the damage she has caused and the mess she will leave.
