<div>My name is Oleksandr Kyyanytsya. I suffer from cerebral palsy. From the beginning of the war in Ukraine, I wanted to help people who got injuries caused by this horrible war. I got an idea one day, and my team and I began our mission. I am genuinely passionate about hiking; even so, walking is not easy for me. Nevertheless, we are organizing a walkathon from Montreal to Ottawa, where I will participate personally. The reason is to raise funds for four surgical apparatus: Stryker System 8 - Large bone rotatory drill, Stryker System 8 - Cordless driver, Stryker System 8 - SABO Saw and Stryker Medical SmartPump with cuffs for a children's hospital in Kyiv and also for treatment, prostheses, and rehabilitation of wounded children and people due to the Russian invasion.

<div>The 2022 walkathon helped us to raise more than 21 000. The money served to buy surgical equipment and many other items for Ukrainian hospitals: like an energy stabilizer for a surgical microscope or specific shunts for blessed having their treatment in the Institute of Neurochirurgie in Kyiv.
