Backpacks full of love.

Hi!!! We are raising money and collecting backpacks for our current mission. In December of 2020 we will be traveling to Guatemala and our goal is to stuff our suitcases with backpacks!!! Once in Guatemala, the money raised will be used to stuff these backpacks with school supplies, and if there is money left over, to purchase more backpacks in Guatemala. Our partner church in Guatemala that we work with, Ministerios Peniel,is setting up distribution and preparing to stuff these backpacks with us once we get there. Additionally, if the backpacks need minor sewing repairs, that will happen as soon as we arrive as well. We are asking everyone primarily to find some used backpacks that are in good condition, and to get them into one of our donation boxes (Journey Church on Yorkhouse Road in Waukegan, or Shorewood Church of God in Shorewood) or to connect with us directly for pickup. However, if you would also like to donate monetarily to this awesome cause, this is the place to do it.
