EDIT 12/14/20: i have a new job now! woo!! but as much of an accomplishment as that is for me, i’m currently only working on the weekends and my pay is going to go from $7.50 an hour to around $6 an hour once the place i work at returns to full service. i go back to school in january, and i still need to afford lyfts, food, school essentials, & pay for therapy. - i was recently fired from my job and while i was applying for other places while i was working there, i haven’t heard back from anywhere i’ve applied to. from past experience, it is very hard for me to find work in the area i live, and it will usually take me months to hear back from even one place i’ve applied at. i also don’t have my license, nor the means to get it at this moment, and my only method of transportation is lyft and uber. i sometimes have to go to my college campus and other places around the city, and nothing is close enough for me to walk or bike to. a ride to the places i need to be for school obligations will cost anywhere from $15-$30, and i quite literally have no money at the moment to even be able to hold myself over the next few weeks. i was expecting that i would be fired soon due to my lack of availability, i just didn’t know it would happen without notice and when i was $133 in the negatives on my account, so please if you can donate any little thing helps, and just sharing this will help me so so much. thank you.
