Pay it Forward at Coffee on the Green

In response to recent issues highlighted by the media, Coffee on the Green and their staff would like to let the village know that we would never knowingly let a family go hungry. To this end, we now have a fund in place so those that are worried in half term about putting food on the table can privately message or call us and come and eat for free (letting us know in advance just means there’s no awkward conversation to be had in front of others and preserve your privacy). If any individuals or local businesses would like to donate towards the fund (65p buys a packet of crisps, £3.60 an adult sandwich, £3.95 a child’s lunchbox for example), we will happily let others know of your generosity and support.
