Medical expenses and loss of work assistance

Hi all, my name is Alexis and I'm a single mama to my 6 year old son Nikolai and 3 year old daughter Hayden. Last Monday, Oct 19, I blew out my back, L5-S1 herniation making it nearly impossible to get around. I've been bed ridden for 5 days already and have already missed a week of work and will not be able to go back for a while still. My insurance has not been helpful in any way and I desperately need an MRI and some kind of treatment that will have to be out of pocket, on top of the regular expenses for the kids. I've never had to ask for this kind of help before, but I honestly can't think of any other way to get the medical help I need and make sure my kids needs are met while I'm out of work.
