Jay's Medical Bills

Donation protected

My name is Mallory Spencer. I am writing this because on April 22, 2016 my dad, Jay Dahlman, passed away from a sudden and massive heart attack. None of us suspected this to happen and it came out of no where that evening. It was probably one of the hardest days of my life. Usually I wouldn't ever try and ask for money from anyone but having medical bills adds up and I just want to try and help my mom get these bills paid because having those bills paid off would be such a relief to our mom during this tremendously difficult time. Jay was such a great husband, father and friend. There was never a dull moment when you were around him and you always had a smile on your face because he always had something funny or smart to say. He could become friends with anyone around him and he was one of the hardest working men you would ever know. He worked at American Home Shield and he always talked so highly about his coworkers and he loved all of them and would always be there for them if they needed any help or just wanted to talk.  I met Jay when I was 9 years old and he took me, my brother, and my sister in like we were  his own children and his own children even made us feel like we were all blood related. Jay was such an amazing father. He went to all the school events that we had, supported all of us no matter what we had going on or what we wanted to do. We knew Jay would be right there for us, even if it was just to go sneak off together to get some ice cream from DQ before going home. He had the biggest heart and he loved all of us so much and he felt that way towards all of his friends. But the one person he loved the most would have to be my mother, Linda Dahlman. Whenever they were around each other you could just feel the love in the room and could just tell how happy they made each other.  Jay is going to be greatly missed and it is going to be difficult the next couple of days, weeks and months. My family and I would appreicate any type of donation that is given to us because it would help us greatly with the medical bills that accumulated from the ambulance ride, the heart surgery and all of the medicines that they used to try to save him. Please keep sending prayers and love our way. We are thankful for each and everyone of y'all and any donation either great or small!
