Hello Good People. Allow me to introduce the players of the new play that sheds light on the importance of Family Values: Andrea Clinton, Playwright/Director; Alex Poage, Stage Manager; and Actors: Peighton Bryant (PA), Ryze Hendricks, Lamar Giles, LaSonya Dismukes, Jayna Strong and Bryan Morales.
We are happy to announce that "It's a Family Affair," is the 3rd play written by Andrea Clinton and was accepted into the Atlanta Black Theatre Festival to be performed as a staged reading on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts Center, 3181 Rainbow Drive, Decatur, GA 30034 and We Need Your Help.
Those Cast & Crew members you see above will be flying out Oct 9, 2016 and staying for a week to attend master classes, workshops, network with other theatre entertainers and producers and then, they will perform a staged reading of "It's a Family Affair" in front of a mainstage audience of 500 theatre goers. THIS is where we need your help:

A little more about who we are:
Andrea Clinton is an author, playwright and director. She founded the non-profit organization People Helping People, in 1998 and started the Arts & Entertainment company in 2014. While the parent organization helps citizens with counseling, job placement and referrals to service agencies, PHP, Arts & Entertainment helps by spreading awareness via Entertainment, and with your help, we can continue with our staged reading of, "It's a Family Affair," a comedy, that addresses Family Matters and sheds light on such missing elements as "Family Values."
"It's a Family Affair" Synopsis:
JT is a retired fireman who thought he would retire to a quiet home with his adoring wife. However, his wife's acting strange, his young adult kids have turned his home into a three-ring circus and the only normal person is his loud, dingy neighbor in this hilarious comedy, "It's a Family Affair."
