Hello, friends!
As many of you probably know, I really, really love performing. Ever since I was a little girl, I've dreamt of living in New York City and singing and dancing on Broadway. So much so that I moved to Seattle when I was 14 to take advantage of the abundance of live theatre in the region, and started getting homeschooled in 10th grade so I could fit even more into my day!
Well, my NYC dreams are closer than ever now: I've been offered an amazing opportunity to attend a summer musical theatre conservatory in New York City!
I would spend 2 weeks in the heart of the city, living with high school students from around the country who share my love of musical theatre, and training every day with professionals in the industry- including former/current Broadway stars!
There's only one problem: the program costs $4000, not including travel. I've been offered a partial scholarship of $1000, which I am incredibly grateful for. My parents are going to try to come up with $1000 of the remaining tuition, leaving us with $2000 to cover. If you can donate even $5, we would be so, so thankful.
I can't put into words how much this experience would mean to me, or how much it would further my growth as a performer. I would appreciate anything you can give morre than you can imagine!
