Cancer treatment medical expenses help

The last 2 years have been very rough on my family. First, I had a couple of major surgeries. Before I was healed, my Mom was diagnosed with lung cancer. A month or so after that, my Husband was diagnosed with colon cancer. After struggling to care for everyone during their illnesses and treatments (I am the only care provider), everyone was finally on the mend...or so I thought. About 4 weeks ago, my son, Adam, was diagnosed with testicular cancer. My son was laid off his job last year and has no health insurance. We were able to find a free clinic for his initial doctor visits, but he had to be referred to specialists and ended up having surgery and then referred to an Oncologist. He has applied for several different kinds of medical assistance and none have come through, so far. He was denied medicaid because they said he was not disabled, yet he can't work and therefore cannot even collect his remaining unemployment?? I just don't get it.

My son's Oncologist delayed making a final decision on his treatment plan until he received results from an MRI. My son had to wait for 3 weeks to get an okay for the MRI because he had no insurance. In the meantime, if cancer is anywhere else, it could be spreading...

He has already received thousands of dollars worth of bills and it is taking an emotional toll on him...as if the cancer diagnoses wasn't enough. I've helped him fill out tons of paperwork and driven him to appointments in search of help with the medical bills so that he can get the proper treatment asap. So far, we are failing in getting any assistance. I am asking, begging, for help...any amount will be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping to somehow help put my son's mind at ease about the medical expenses long enough to focus on his health and getting better
