The past couple of months has been an emotion roller coaster. Appointments, tests, calls, the works. In September, Janice went for a biopsy on a new suspicious spot in her right breast. Two days felt like a lifetime. She finally received the dreadful call.... CANCER. An appointment was made with the surgeon with a plan to do a lumpectomy, radiation, and medication for 5-10 years. A special MRI was performed to make sure everything was as we thought so far. It was NOT!! BILATERAL BREAST CANCER. The simplistic plans to perform a lumpectomy swiftly changed to BILATERAL MASTECTOMIES. This has been an emotional time for the entire family. One thing for certain, we will get through this because Janice is strong!!! -Your daughter
