26.2 Miles Supporting the Wenzler Family

I was going to run the Buffalo Marathon on May 24, 2020 to support my friend and mentor Chris Wenzler in his cancer battle. Then it got canceled. Instead, on Saturday, May 23, 2020, I will run 26.2 miles across Cleveland to continue raising money for the Wenzler Family.
As I prepare to run 26.2 miles for the first time, will you donate $262, $26.20 or even $2.62 to support the Wenzler Family?
For the last three years, Chris has fought multiple myeloma, a treatable, but incurable blood cancer that affects the plasma cells in his bone marrow.
Insurance coverage only goes so far and medical expenses add up fast. Reaching my goal of $2,620 means we can cover the next 12 months of Chris' insurance deductible.
Chris is John Carroll University's sports information director and my first professional mentor. I interned for him during my senior year at JCU and he encouraged me to pursue a career in public relations. He even pushed me to apply for my graduate assistant role with the Buffalo Bills in 2006. Now, we're colleagues at JCU.
