Help imminently homeless veteran Ben Miller

I'm Ben Miller.
I'm an unemployed, disabled Veteran.
I am facing a personal emergency situation & financial crisis which, if I'm unable to get help from others, will result in my imminent homelessness.

How Imminent?
by close of business on November 10th, 2020, I will be homeless.

I currently live in Sealy, Texas in a daily/weekly/monthly Extended Stay Motel.

The motel i have been living in has been sold and scheduled to be demolished. All current tenants must be out by November 10th, 2020.

I am behind on my rent. I pay $130 weekly and risk being kicked out and becoming homeless at 11 am daily if I'm unable to pay at least another days rent.  I currently receive a $15 per week discount as a veteran and pay $130 per week.

This gofundme account is to assist me with the bare essentials to survive on, prevent homelessness during this personal financial crisis, provide daily living expenses, food and essentials, pay my past due rent, pay the rent needed to remain here until November 10th of this year, when all tenants will be removed and the property demolished, assist in paying for my cell phone to be turned back on ($60 monthly) and to help secure deposit and rent at another location within this community, the means to seek work and maintain my basic human dignity and ability to remain independent.

I have been unemployed from my usual work as general contractor due to the pandemic since March of 2020 and currently draw self employment disaster unemployment benefits from Texas workforce commission in the ammount of $188 every two weeks after child support of $207 is deducted from each payment automatically.

This is my only source of income and i don't receive any other benefits or money.  I do not receive food stamps or disability benefits even though I'm a disabled US Army Veteran (as diagnosed by the va, but not classified by them as being service connected at this time, therefore no pay)

I received an honorable discharge and have my DD214 discharge document on hand and verifiable online through id.me, and the Veterans Administration upon request

I served in the conflicts/deployments: Gulf War Era, IFOR/SFOR (Bosnia and Herzegovina/former Republic of Yugoslavia) and served in the Republic of Korea for a year.

I am 100% unemployable due to the severity of my medical conditions as defined by the department of veterans affairs and this condition is expected to continue for the duration of my life and or will result in my death.

I am actively working to receive the disability benefits that i am entitled to through both the social security administration and the VA, but this is a lengthy and demanding process which could take several more years to complete

This is the hardest thing I think I've ever done in my life... Ask you for help. I'm embarrassed and feel ashamed, but I am honestly so desperate and scared that I have no other options.

I'm sorry to burden you with my troubles..
If you can donate ANYTHING to help, I promise it will make a difference.

Thank you, God bless you and yours,
Ben
