Car Needed for Family

Hello,   I find myself in a position I’ve I never thought I’d be in – I am asking for help.   I'm a student single mom who in all my years raising my kids have always been able to meet all of our needs until I became ill with Grave’s Disease AKA  Thyroid Disease -  and had to change careers.   Since my diagnosis I have working from home in Dental Insurance customer service making 14.00/hr previously I'd been a Correctional Officer for over 11 years. My endocrinologist explained I cannot have a physical job any longer.    My thyroid is the size of a small grapefruit in my throat.  It's nasty… and embarrassing. It also affects my heart.  My heart rate without my medication is 140-- which is ridiculous and exhausting. I was hospitalized for 5 days last year   until they found the right combo to treat me with.   Fun Fact: apparently my goiter has it's own pulse which I'm told by my Dr. is very rare and he wants me to go get an ultra sound of it for him.. -- he's still waiting..lol I can have the goiter taken out - I'm waiting for Covid to settle down before I am going into any hospital.  I have a healthy fear of Covid.    My 2006  Corolla finally bit the dust… the transmission is died.  It's been  3 months now and I cannot save the money with the money I currently make.    During the past 3 ½ months I have been attempting to save to replace it and am unable to do it.  I have been hoping the next stimulus check would come and that would help with saving  & we all know how that’s going.   My goal is 4,000.00.  I need a car that will be reliable for my kids - our dogs and  I. I don’t need a fancy car or an expensive car simply one that will go from point A to B and be dependable.   Any and all help that you can extend will be very much appreciated and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.   Thank you Kate
