Memorial for Thomas Steven Owens

On February 25, 2013 Thomas Steven Owens passed away due to complications of Pneumonia and his Chronic Myotonic Dystrophy. Steve was diagnosed with Myotonic Dystrophy when he was just 18 years old, at which point his health had continued to decline. As a result, he spent over 10 years at Mountain Vista Health Park. One of Steve's last and best memories was being able to join his graduating class, DHS class of 81, for their 30 year reunion. His mother, Wynona and his brother, Thomas proceeded him in death with complications of this crippling disease.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been set up to assist the family with final arrangements for Steve. Your support at this difficult time is greatly appreciated. Any donations over the GOAL amount will go toward a headstone and/or a contribution to the Muscular Dystrophy association in Steve's name.
