Help my sister kick cancer's ass!

Donation protected
On September 21,2020 my beautiful sister Kassondra was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma. she is one of the strongest people I have ever met, and I know that she is going to kick cancer's ass! Her sickness did not begin in September; it began to change her life around April 7th, 2020 when her symptoms made it difficult to take part and daily routines. At this time she noticed a swollen lymph node along with her other symptoms; she knew something was seriously wrong with her health. Sadly my sister was turned away by doctors for 6 months as she begged them to help her with her illnesses. Disregarding labs that suggested she get further testing due to abnormalities, responding with the fact that she's young and the physicians didn't deem it necessary to proceed with more tests. As time went on she got so sick that leaving bed most days wasn't an option; it was then that she lost faith in her doctors and turned to the emergency room at Rhode island hospital. Thank God she did this because what took other doctors 6 months to ignore the doctors at Rhode island hospital did in a day; her diagnoses of Hodgkin's Lymphoma.
My sister is 32 years old and the mother/step mother to 5 beautiful children. Her Fiancé Peter has been nothing but amazing between supporting her emotionally and physically, taking on the full responsibility of their five children, as well as taking on all the household tasks. On top of all the challenges they are facing Peter is also taking on the roll of a teacher to 5 children due to distance learning. Kassondra has started chemo and is fighting like hell to beat this cancer; however this makes her to sick to be able to do anything she would typically do in order to keep her family happy and healthy. Unfortunately Peter is returning to work with an intermitted FMLA meaning he will go to work his typical (very long) hours, and is able to stay home on the days my sister needs to go to chemo, for emergencies, and issues with their children (due the fact that he is the one physically able to care for them at this time) without the fear of losing his job in the process. He will not be paid to take these days off. Working with one income and 5 children is difficult enough to make ends meet.. now they will have to deal with smaller paychecks in order to keep my sister healthy and fighting with at least 6 months of chemo ahead of her.
Wondering weather or not they are going to pay the mortgage each month, or put food on their table should be the last thing on their minds right now. I will do anything I can do to keep any stress off of their shoulders, and that is the reason for this go fund me. My sister needs a clear head... her main focus needs to be fighting this. She needs to maintain the best mental health she can at a time like this and worrying about finances should not be a factor in her life right now. Any contribution helps tremendously; let's make her fight worth it so that when she beats this she will be doing it without a financial hardship in front of her. This will give them the ability to keep their home and carry on with life as they knew it. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read this.
