The Reid Families Plea For Help

Hello everyone my name is Jesse Reid and I first off I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my story. I am the last person to ever ask anyone for help because it just never seemed right to me because I should be able to support my family but situations way past my control has got me here. If we do not get help soon we are gonna be homeless and the city and state doesn’t have any money to help us. For the past 2 months my grandmother, my mother, my 14 yr old son, myself, my dog and my cat who recently gave birth to 6 kittens have been moving from one hotel to another ever since we sold our house In the beginning of July. Unfortunately with so much debt accrued from mortgages on the house at the time to fix up the house, the pay out for that was very small. My 14 yr old son is my world and I will do anything for him to make sure he has a place to stay. If we become homeless he will be unable to stay with me and I know in the end that will be incredibly damaging to him. He is best kid in the world ( I know all parents say that) but it’s true! My 86yr old grandmother who has Alzheimer’s, Dementia and numerous other ailments that has left her disabled and using a walker. For those reasons alone we have to find housing that is compatible to her needs that will also take our pets as well because they are our family and if you have pets you know exactly where I am coming from. My mother who is 62 yrs of age is also disabled with more than 6 surgeries done to her knees and foot as well as her Fibromyalgia renders her unable to do a lot. So a couple years ago after my spinal fusion I moved in to help take care of both of them. Then within a year my body broke down completely as my shoulders kept popping out, as well as my back pain becoming worse than it ever has been and now both my knees are extremely painful. I also have epilepsy and have taken Dilantin ever since I was 15 which I have now been told is part of the reason my body is failing me but Dr’s chose to keep me on the Dilantin since it has been working by keeping seizures away. I have asked family members for help but with everything going on right now there is not a lot they can do. So I am pleading for help on here because I have nothing left to take care of my family! I have done everything I could think of that is legal and I am still in this situation. If we can get the help I am asking for we will be able to submit applications to homes that will fit what’s best for our family. We haven’t been able to submit any apps in a a couple weeks because we have needed the money for living expenses at the hotel. This is our last option and your help will a family off the street’s. We will be forever grateful and I will post updates on the website to let you know where the money is going to and how much it is helping. Plz help us I hate having to ask and it’s the last thing I wanted to do but my family is my world and they deserve my every effort to keep them safe.
