Help for Baliey

This is Bailey , a poor sweet caring dog that needs help. He needs special blood tests and medication as he has suffered from leishmaniasis, a disease not so well known in this country as it comes from the bite of a sandfly abroad . Bailey was rescued from Spain where he contracted this illness and has suffered for his short two years life. He has had one round of the required medication before but this has not worked. There is a new medication that he would have to be on for a month consisting of injections each day that should bring it under control and hopefully allow him to lead a normal life . The picture you see above is but a snippet of what he suffers during a flare up of this illness with bleeding from the nose , sores on his body and lack of energy to move much or even eat. This disease kills from the inside out , affecting the kidneys and more, liesh can cause a slow and painful death without treatment. There is no lack of love or care for this sweet boy it is purely the lack of financial means to facilitate the care he needs , we know the dog lovers out there will help by sharing or donating, a little from a few can a long way to helping this beautiful boy. I am writing this on behalf of my mother, baileys loving owner margaret Ritchie who is in ill health , a personal message from her follows.

We are frantic and ill with worry about our boy and need your help to save him , any donations are extremely appreciated . And would thank anyone even if unable to donate who can share so we can build enough through this fund to keep one of the most special caring loving dogs alive. He is part of our family and we would be lost without him , please find it in your heart to donate or share so he stands more of a chance , all shares and donations will forever have our thanks . We love our boy so much , please help us save him . The PDSA have been very helpful but are limited on what they an do as they cannot help with the special tests or medication he needs, but unless he can get both tests and medication then he has no hope , the cost of this would be atleast 800 for blood tests and the months medication. Its breaking my heart watching my baby boy suffer , he is only 2 , I know its hard this time of year and with the pandemic but anything spared would be appreciated
