Service Dog For Disabled Veteran

My name is Kevin Trainor. I am 100% disabled with PTS(D) and TBI. I served in the Navy as a Search and Rescue Swimmer .
My service dog Luca was killed in a tragic accident almost a month ago. Luca was the calm in the storm in all he did for me. I have had a very difficult time since his passing .
Luca made doing the daily errands, road trips, flights more bearable. He was very in tune with me . He knew when I was having a difficult time navigating crowds, or feeling overwhelmed. He woke me when I was having a night-terror. Luca was with me 24/7 and was the ultimate guardian for me.
He brought comfort and stability when there was chaos .
I am in need of another service dog to manage the day to day activities. I have done a lot of research, and I have done a lot of praying. A friend who owns Fortress K9 in Florida has a perfect dog for me . She is currently in training and will be ready in a few months to help me resume a more manageable lifestyle.
The average wait time for a service dog is 18 months to 2 years .
This is where I need your help. Fortress K9 has reduced the cost, and I need help raising the remaining funds.
The goal is $10,000.00 and would guarantee me a service dog, the needed training with the service dog and follow on training sessions as needed.
