In the hard times, we all fall, and sometimes, well, we may just need a little help finding our way back up!!! My name is Joshua Rodriguez. I'm not usually one to do something like this..Really, I'm not!! But honestly, these rocks at the bottom are leaving me so battered and bruised, i don't know where else to turn..Im really going through such a financial struggle at the moment, and i just don't know that im strong enough! Don't know if im just not praying hard enough, trusting Him enough, or whatever it may be, but I know i can do all things through Christ that strengthens me!!! Not some things, not most things, but ALL things!!! There is a story i heard awhile back. Its about this man out on the sea, his boat just capsized, and he is out there just getting tossed and turned by the raging roars of the sea. So he prayed, "Father, please help me, save me from these ominous tides that are trying to consume me please Father!!" Now this man had faith that our almighty Father in heaven would for sure rescue him from the Abyss.. Well, not even five minutes later a man in a fishing boat nearby seen this man being tossed about by the raging waters and so the fisherman uproached the man and said "I'll throw you a rope and pull you in." The man in said "No,but thanks. My Lord is going to save me!" The fisherman, in shock, turned away and headed back to shore. Then comes a family of four, out enjoying their day on the waters in their nice, fancy yacht with a few friends. At this point, the waters were really churning, there was a horrific storm a brewing!! They pulled over closer toward the man and the father of the yacht yelled out to him saying, "I'll get the lifeboat and come get you!!" The man in the water, still keeping the faith said, "I'm fine, my God is going to save me!!" The people on the yacht, looking at one another dumbfounded, not knowing what else to do, turned back towards shore and set off. Well, next thing you know, here comes a national guard helicopter to the rescue.. One of the guards come down the rope he tossed out to get this almost seamlessly, lifeless, and battered man from the tides! The man says, " I am just fine, I'm waiting for my Father to come, He will save me!!!" The guard says, "Don't be foolish, give me your hand!!" Once again, the man turns him down saying "my Father is going to save me!!" The man was fighting the waters with everything he had as he awaited, tirelessly, for the help from his Father, but at this point, the waters were just too intense from the ferocious, whipping winds of the storm of the sea!! Well, the man grew too tied and the fight in him was gone and the grusome seas consumed the man...The man, now up in the clouds walking the streets of gold, seen the Father himself, and wanted to talk to him..The man approached the Father and he says, "Father, i trusted in you. I prayed so hard, kept my faith that you would save me! What happened? Where were you? Why didn't you help me?" The Father then says to the man, "I sent two boats and a helicopter for you my child!" The man kept the faith thats for sure, but wasn't able to see the Lords helping hand to save his life!! The moral of the story is that we all could use a little help every now and then! Whether it be from family, friends, a complete stranger, or God himself!!! This is a tough and trying life we live sometimes and it's a struggle to overcome the trials and tribulations life throws at us! Just remember, faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains!!! With that being said, i want to thank you for taking the time to read this and just know, it's ok if you can't help or don't want to even..I won't be mad at ya! This is just another mountain that needs moved and there's no doubt in my mind that it will be moved! In His time though, not mine!! Though i won't be like the man in the water!! I will take as much help as the Good Lord will send!!! Mountains are huge, It'd be so much easier with a little help rather than doing it on our own, don't you think?!? Thanks again just for taking the time to read this!!! God Bless and have a great day!!!
