Help LAAC get to Legoland!

Livingstone Academy Autism Center is a not-for-profit, private school in Bloomingdale providing specialized teaching for  children with severe to moderate autism.   These are amazing, smart children that face challenges to learn that most of us cannot even imagine.

This year the teachers and caregivers at the school have set a goal to take their students to Legoland as an end of year reward for hard work in class.   They know it will be a hit with these special students and after a discussion with Legoland they see a way to make their vision a reality.

The school is now seeking support from our community to offset some of the transportation and admission costs of the trip.   As an example, parking costs alone could exceed $500 for vehicles to transport over 100 students, teachers, and the aides that provide 1:1 support for some children.

The school's goal is to raise $3000 to offset expenses without taking funds from their core teaching mission.

Will you help make their dream come true!!!

$5 would be great!  $10 would be amazing too!
A gift of any size would be a blessing!

Our family has been associated with the School for over three years and we strongly support their dedication, love, and results with these great kids.

[note:  If the school cannot reach its Legoland goal, funds will be redirectd exclusively for supplemental teaching tools and sensory appropriate play equipment.  The same will happen for funds in excess of the Legoland  trip costs.  Thank you.]
