Mia's Leg Reconstruction Surgery

Do you see this smile? This is my precious niece Mia, age 11, despite her limitations and pain, she always has a beautiful smile that lights up the room. And she is so smart and funny. It is a sheer pleasure to be around her.
Mia was born early, about 4 pounds. She fought and survived and is still fighting hard to be all that she knows she can be, but without her legs working properly she can't accomplish this.
It took months of meetings and scheduling to get this surgery approved, but a recent hiccup may cause this to be cancelled. We have to do something now because her surgery is suppposed to be this THURSDAY! In order for her surgery to happen ...$3800 in past medical bills needs to be paid (we were just informed of this). *UPDATE * Mia had her surgery yesterday, thrusday, she did great. The hospital will take payments, we will pay what we have now and hopefully have this paid off within the month as she has a long road of healing and recovery ahead.
Every penny donated will go directly to Mia's hospital bills.
Mia had eye surgery not too long ago, her eyes were not straight due to slight cerebral palsy...and she is doing fantastic. She is strong and so ready for this. She longs to be a limitless little girl. She is extremely active and unstoppable. This is the final surgery that she needs, to reconstruct and straighten out her legs. She begged for this surgery because she still does everything, just in pain and clumsily. This will give her the ability to live a normal life.
Asking for help is never easy, but Mia is so deserving and determined and this tough little girl will succeed! We are excited to see her walking one day...Perhaps into a courtroom as a lawyer or performing surgeries of her own....on little girls just like her. Every 10 to 20 bucks can help this to happen.
