Richard ‘Gypsy’ Williams

Hello family and friends of our recently departed and adored Richard ‘Gypsy’ Williams, As of now we are in a unexpected and dire situation, what has happened is truly a tragedy for all of us. We have lost a son, a brother, a father, and loyal friend...A true gentleman that was loved by all who met him. Richard loved his family with all of his heart, and his friends are the family that he unconditionally adopted. Anyone who knows Richard, can say without a doubt he would give anything to anyone who needed it he is the most selfless person that I believe many of us have had the blessing to know. All he ever wanted was for everyone to smile, he wanted everyone to laugh and have a good time, all the time. It’s unfortunate that in a time like this he would be the only one that would know what to do. Richard would find a way to cheer us up, comfort us and tell us to be strong. We are all currently struck by grief that is unimaginable, and we are not prepared in the slightest. We found Richard on October 1, 2020 and in a blink of an eye have lost him. It doesn’t feel real at all. In the mist of this time of mourning we now realize how little time and resources we have as a family to plan a funeral and burial. Everything is happening so fast and of course were all still in shock. As of now my mother and father just lost there son and are completely overwhelmed with grief unable to take care of the planing that giving Richard a funeral entails. I am Samantha Mitchell, Richards sister. I am currently assuming all responsibility of the beneficiary position to delegate all funds to his funeral costs, as no one else is able to do so. I will ensure that each and every one of your donations will go towards this unprecedented crisis as funeral burial costs could range from $12,000 - 15,000CAD for the funeral director fees, hosting a service for 75+ guests over the course of 2 days, a casket, clothes for him, cemetery ground burial fees, and transportation fees. I also want to be very clear that if there are any funds are remaining after his funeral OR if we surpass this goal I will entrust an bank account with every last cent in the name of “Eva Lynn Williams” his only child, who is currently a minor (9 years of age); which is the only thing my Brother would have wanted. We have never suffered such a loss but in this situation if we are all being honest, we don’t even know how to ask...None of this feels right. So here’s us asking.. We would all be so deeply grateful because anything helps in this moment. If you’re able donate at this critical time we would be forever grateful and use this money toward a traditional Gypsy burial and Memorial service. It feels unnatural to send a such a young man to heaven, Richard will be missed so much by his Parents, Siblings, Daughter and friends ...All we can want for now is that he Rest In Peace..
