Vehicle theft recovery for Volunteer Firefighter
Donation protected
In the wee hours of the morning last week, a local Volunteer Firefighter, and protector of the valley returned from work to find his dream vehicle stolen from the fire station while he was on Night Patrol on the Slater Fire.
This friend to all in the valley had been working tirelessly for weeks on night shift on the fire, helping cover shifts at the station and had also just started EMT school during the day at RCC in the middle of all of it.
All while being under evacuation orders himself.
He was rewarded for his hard work and dedication in service to the valley by returning at 6am from the fire to find his truck stolen.
This fund raiser is to assist the valley’s beloved Rookie Of the Year with any repair costs associated with the theft of his truck is recovered or to be applied toward the cost of replacing the vehicle and items within it.
Due to current circumstances and the recent purchase the vehicle did not yet have an active insurance policy to help cover the loss.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
