Restoration Fundraiser

October 1, 2020 After a very long day of feeding a homeless camp in madison wisconsin. I was extremely tired and managed to set my apartment on fire. It is a total loss. Thirty thousand dollars of personal items, audio tech gear, and video tech. All destroyed by smoke and water sprinkler system. this just hurts deep. I did not have renters insurance. the quote i received was really high and most months i have very little being on a fixed disability income. I tried and tried to call my dogs out of the smoke filled apartment. They were to afraid i crawled in and dragged them out one by one. I am a marine corps veteran on service connected disability. It is a pittance and not very much. i am in need of housing. today is nov 23. i reached out to red cross, lutheran social services, and v.a. hud vash. funds raised so far were used on items for the camper. fridge, microwave, toaster oven etc etc. help with security deposit would be awesome.
