Help gay man leave abusive houshold

A toxic and abusive household

Hi, my name is Ryan. Im currently living with homophobic, racist family and a drug abusing father. Im 17 and although its only one year until im out, certain things have happened that make me realise I need out now.

I'll be explaining my situation more in depth in the new few slides but if you are faint of heart or triggered easily I suggest skipping to the sixth slide.

Since I was 2 Ive been moving across the country from household to household or been dropped off at relatives unwanted because of my fathers drug abuse. During this time I was introduced to various people from gang members to an alcoholic step mom who verbally abused me.

As the years passed I was sent to my grandparents more and more, eventually staying with them every two years. My grandfather continues to verbally assault me and has told me to move out on multple occasions. I am often shunned and openly shamed when we have guests due to my sexuality. My grandmother on the other hand, is complacent. She blows up at me for minor errors I make because she has nothing else to take her anger out on.

Although I have never felt safe, I never truely feared who I was living with until recently. On a late night my father came up to my room and started asking questions about who I was working for and that there were bad men after him; I recognized that he was high again since this is his normal behavior when high and tried to talk him down. He then asked me "would you shoot a gun?"

It didnt quite process at first. "No, I dont like guns." I responded. He asked the same question again and I gave the same response. He pulled his hand gun out of his holder and asked again "If I asked you to shoot me would you?" And I said "No, I dont like guns." I didnt know what else to say. He tried placing the gun in my hand and started again "what about if I pull the trigger and you hold-" and I said no one final time.

He doesnt suffer from addiction. He has never tried to stop. I have mentioned rehab to my grandparents and they have accepted he will never quit meth. And finally, so have I.

What I need your help for is funding. I know there are many people in need right now, but please add me to the list.

I need out soon, I plan on taking them to court in order to get an emancipation.

*emancipation: The fact or process of being set free from legal, social, or political restrictions; liberation.

By proving that they are unfit to care for me, and that I can care for myself. Within three months I hope to be out of this situation, but I need your help in doing so.

The funds you support me with will go to brief and final housing, my medication, lawyers and court fees, and maybe more.

I will also be working on commissions for the first time alongside my current job, to help pay for gas and food.

My end goal is to move out of state, far far away from my father and the others. I have prospective housing in the same neighborhood as my boyfriend and my support system as well, be able to financially support myself with stable income and... feel safe.

If you would like to help me, in any form, please consider taking a commission or donating.
