I have been invited to the RNC Nominating Convention as a guest of a member of the Colorado delegation. (My original sponsor was called home to heaven, and another delegation member invited me as a guest.) I intend to support the delegation and report back to Colorado Republicans via email to any interested subscribers.
How will our delegates vote?
· * On the Credentials Committee report
· * On the Rules Committee report
· * On the Platform Committee report
· * For president
· * For vice president
Will Colorado arrive with a full delegation? If not, who will be absent? Will any delegates intentionally step aside for an alternate to vote? Which alternates will be elevated to full delegate status and why?
I will do my best to answer questions received from Colorado Republicans watching the convention from home, including general inquiries on the convention and committee meetings.
You won't have to wait until July to receive updates. There are plenty issues of special interest that may arise prior to the convention. Are there any alternate elevations? Delegate challenges? I will keep you in the communication loop.
Funds raised will help defray travel, food, lodging, and other expenses. Convention costs have been estimated by some to be as high as $5000.
My goal is get 100 friends to donate $20, but you can give as much as you feel led as you are able.
