The John Carter Memorial Ground

Following the sudden passing of our much loved husband, dad & grandad John, we are asking for donations to be made in his memory towards something that he put a lot of his time & effort into, as you know he was a long-serving member of Rugeley Cricket Club and held the position of Chairman, and his dream was to make the top field at their Chaseley Road home into another ground to allow the 3rd team play their home games there, it will also open up more space for their growing junior section, another thing John was keen on seeing flourish. Sadly now, he won’t get to see this happen so we want to help the club in their mission to make John’s dream a reality in his memory, and the club have very kindly made the decision to name the new ground after him. The first charge due to set the ball rolling in getting the ground up & running is £30,000! So please give what you can, no donation is too small and will be greatly appreciated.
