Autism Awareness

Hello All, I am looking to develop a nonprofit Organization to help and bring awareness to African American communities dealing with autism & sensory disorders. My son was diagnosed at 2 with Level III Autism, ADHD, Developmental Delay, Hyperkinesis & PICA. As you can imagine this was devastating and life altering. We are now a year into this journey and have made tremendous progress, however I have also seen so many in our community be affected by this. What’s even worse is that they are uneducated about the disorder and instead of learning they reject what they don’t know, meaning kids and families suffer all because of ignorance. I endeavor to bring about change through education, support groups, financial assistance, housing emergencies support and much more! Please help us help others beat the odds of this disorder!
