Patty Brown Medical Fund & expenses

My name is Michael Francis and I am asking for help for a dear friend of mine. This is a woman who does not know the meaning of the word no when it comes to helping others; a loving mom, a fantastic friend, a dedicated employee and a veteran. Pat Brown has worked for over 30 years at Calkins Media. Patty is the one you go to when things just need to get done! You do not have to worry if you did it wrong, she will fix it and make you look good! Pat also works part time at Giant food stores, where she is well loved by her regular customers, who come looking to her for help when needed. She also volunteers many hours of her personal time for causes she believes in. As many of you know, Pat has recently been diagnosed with a form of cancer and the prognosis is not good. We all know how tight things are. Most people live paycheck to paycheck and that is no different for Patty. Her devoted son Matt does all he can to help Patty make ends meet. I am asking for your help to build a fund for the extensive medical expenses that will be coming each and every day. Having medical insurance is great, but the co-pay and additional expenses will really make their lives difficult. Everyday expenses will also be greatly relieved with the funds raised. Patty and I have been friends for many, many years and I wish I could just make this all go away. The best I can do is to ask for help for the two of them and I know this is something she is too proud to do.
