Help Casey with Cancer Treatments

My name is Sharon Brock and I have set up this page for my long time boyfriend, in the hope of helping him receive the medical treatment that is needed and the cost of the medication needed to save his life. Here is his story. Earlier this month (Sep 11), Casey Camp was admitted to the hospital for a hernia repair when testing showed a more serious health matter. Casey has been diagnosed with colorectal cancer that has metastasized to his liver and lungs. The surgeons decided not to remove the mass at this time and want to start him immediately on chemotherapy as the first course of action. Further tests show that he was severely anemic and has already had a few blood infusions and will have to have more in the future. It is urgent that he start treatment. Unfortunately, his job does not offer health insurance and the cost is very costly . Right now he is required to have treatments twice a month. He has been unable to work and is in a lot of discomfort. He needs medication and the financial resources just aren't there. Until now, Casey had never had any health issues, he's never been one to get sick and had not ever been hospitalized or had surgery of any kind. Needless to say, this is a devastating time for him and me, his family and friends. Casey grew up in Centerpoint, AL and is a 1982 E. B. Erwin High School graduate. He has worked his entire adult life and plans to continue doing so. Since receiving this awful news, he has been holding onto his faith and remains positive. I am amazed by his strength and upbeat spirit. He's never been a quitter and right now, we need support. Please help us in his fight and keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Every day matters to him and looks forward to getting over this. I have investigated all avenues known to us requesting assistance with medical and financial needs and we are thankful that some assistance is available; however, we desperately need help with the cost of his chemo treatments. Any and all donations are so greatly appreciated. Casey is a very private and proud man and this is so hard for me to post, but he's the love of my life and I can't imagine him not in it. We dated in our teenage years and reconnected about 8 years ago and I'm just as smitten with him now as I was then. He has the same heart ,the same soul, and the same outgoing personality.
