I am not one to ask for help lightly. But, if there was ever a time that I would ask for help, it is now. As many of you know, my husband and I began a 5 year project in February 2018 Our plan was: ~Build a Skoolie (years 1&2) ~Buy land (Year 3) ~Build a house (Year 3, 4&5) My ex harassed and stalked us for For 8 years... I didn't feel comfortable playing outside with my children because I worried that my birth mother would try to snatch them from the yard, because of what she did with my oldest when he was younger. (I could seriously write a book about that nightmare. Also, note, that she works with my abusive ex in family court dealings.) Regardless. We were given the opportunity to move out to Indiana to My FILs property. He's a disabled veteran and needed an aid. He had a 40+ acre farm and needed the help. Jon secured a job and we were going to move. We settled in court. Not even outside the court house after the order was agreed to, he violated it. Then from christmas- Feb 6th (violation court date) I saw my son Once. (He was court ordered to be returned to me.) My Ex made it pretty clear he would not be following the court order. Enter COVID-19. My ex kept my son for 87 days from me until I found out he was shipping my son all over the state. I went back to 50/50 until this past Thursday. Over the summer we bought land. Ahead of schedule. Around the same time my husband had a tooth extraction go horribly wrong. (Like, he could have died from the infection) not only that, it happened the week he was supposed to go back to work after the shut downs.. My husband has now lost the entire season of work. And, had he been able to work, we wouldn't be here asking for help… We had to move up to our property last week. This Thursday, my ex informed me that he claims I am in violation of our court order, and he will not allow me to see or communicate with our son. Im working with a lawyer, but I need to turn my 5 year plan, into a 2 year plan- and I need help to do it. With a home on our land I was told I have a relatively good case. We found a house to put on our land. I have until this coming Friday (October 2nd) to come up with $10,000. (That will pay for the home, and transport/set up) I have had several people offer to donate, and it is so greatly appreciated, I am forever grateful! I am also happy to pay back any amount of kindness borrowed. Hopefully Jon will be working again soon. Any amount borrowed can be paid back within a year. If Jon is working then it could be paid back much earlier. (This depends solely on his recovery.) I am launching my beta group for my tarot school in hopes of raising enough money to pay for it myself, but 10,000$ in a week is intimidating to me. Again. I do not ask for help lightly. I have exhausted all avenues, and this is my last ditch effort… If you feel inclined to donate or potentially loan me a small donation… my info is as follows: Cashapp: $thelittlecauldron Venmo: #thelittlecauldron Paypal.me/helenhoffman If you would consider loaning me a portion needed towards buying our home I can be reached via Facebook at River Wild-Hoffman or email at [email redacted]
