Helping my brother get the burial he deserves

In July of 2019 Terry went to the ER with excruciating flank pain. He was 37 years old and thought it was a kidney stone. Unfortunately what they found was the beginning of every family’s worst nightmare. He was diagnosed with a rare form of kidney cancer. A cancer that they typically only see in someone 70 plus year old male. He had his left kidney removed as the tumor was bigger than the kidney and was causing bleeding so after several blood transfusions and surgery they said it was all good. After 14 days in the hospital he was sent home. He developed numbness in his side going to his groin/hip and repeatedly questioned why. The Dr said he’s fine. He wasn’t fine. The cancer returned with a vengeance and he was told there was nothing they could do as far as operating the only option he had was to send him to Barnes for a clinical trial that would prolong his life and hopefully give him the best quality of life. He’s been in this trial now for several months every three weeks his wife and him travel from IL to St. Louis Missouri for blood work, an infusion of experimental meds. Last week he developed sepsis due to the tumor creating a hole in his stomach which leaked everything he takes orally into his abdominal cavity. He also had critical blood loss from a GI bleed also caused from the tumors. This has been devastating in every way for both him and the family that love and adore him. He’s a fighter like I’ve never seen and needs prayers and help with the financial burden they are facing. He’s now in Barnes and due to COVID only his wife is allowed to see him. We are thankful that she is allowed to be by his side but with all of this comes financial hardship. His first grandchild was born the day he was rushed to Barnes. He’s not been able to work since this started and she’s his full time caregiver. I’m asking for help which is something none of us are good at. Any help is appreciated and if you can’t financially help please add him to your prayers.... pray for strength and healing for my brother.
